OUR MINIATURE DACHSHUNDS, COLORS AND PRICES

Our Miniature Dachshunds are our first and favorite breed. Dachshunds are very loving and affectionate dogs. They make excellent pets and are a very good breed around children. We are raising our next generation from our current breeders and I get very attached to the babies, so they live in the house until they are old enough about seven months old before they are housed outside in the kennel. I do this to ensure that they are healthy and that their personalities are well developed. Any dog even a breeder must have love and be treated like a pet in order to be a happy, well adjusted and productive pet. We rotate everyone in and out of the house as room allows and puppies are born.

I have a special attachment to each one of our dogs. Many of our Dachshunds are also house pets, we can have quite a group under our feet sometimes. It just makes for a very busy and loving home.

Miniature Dachshunds are available in smooth-hair, long-hair and wire-hair and come in a large array of colors. We have a limited number of males and several; females several colors. Some of my favorite colors are chocolate and tan and cream. Our other colors include red, black/tan, red/sable, brindle and a cream piebald. We are now raising English creams also. We raise the smooth and long haired dachshunds only, no wire-hair.

We are now specializing in Chocolate/tan and English creams. The cream new lines are pictured on a separate photo page, "English Cream Line". We also have cream and cream carring females and they are producing some outstanding show/breeding quality pups for us.

Pictured at the very bottom of the page is our chocolate/tan smooth-hair female, "Brandy", who has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and is so missed. Brandy was our smallest girls, she weighed approximately 5 pounds but a great mother.

I am very proud to announce that one of our off spring, owned and trained by my very best friend Linda, is our first ribbon winning puppy. Pictured below, she is the winner of Best of Breed and Best of Show in the Singapore Kennel Club and the Asian Kennel Club for the year 2000. She accomplished this amazing task with the help and love of her owner at the ripe old age of 10 months. Plans are to win the AKC Kennel Club ribbons apon her return home to the states and I am competent that she will do that. Pictured below in her pretty green dress, "CH Santo's Damsel Roxie Red". We have been blessed to have received a female from Roxie's first litter. LindaSanto's First Lady MS, is a black/tan and sired by Aust CH Brellimaust Bioultach MS, black/tan.

The other two girls below are our gorgeous black/tan and dapple long-hair females, "Raisenette" and sophisticated lady "Sassy Jo" one of our first group of doxies. And below her is one of our only piebald "Kali", she is a smooth cream piebald.

Our dachshund prices are based on the color, hair length and sex of the puppy as well as pedigrees and bloodlines. We are raising creams in long coats with English and Australian bloodlines many with champion pedigrees.

We breed all our dogs to improve and represent the breed to "AKC breed standards". Not all puppies are perfect or will make show and breeding dogs but every single one is a loving pet regardless.
