Welcome, I am Sandy, my husband Joe and I are the

owners and operators of our small but productive breeding

kennel. Our goal is to provide you with useful information

about our kennel and our dogs. We hope the information

provided here will make it easier for you to do business

with us.

We strive to provide the best quality pups at the best

possible price. Our goal is to help families and especially

children to find that one special pet to love and cherish for

years to come.

Sandy's K-9's Kennel has been serving the families and

friends of Arkansas from the Bismarck community since

1996. We specialize in breeding show and pet quality AKC

registered Miniature Dachshunds and Italian Greyhounds.

                                                                         Additional information on choosing a good breeder and the                                                                                    proper health and care of your puppies can be found on many                                                                               good web sites. This is a very important when deciding to                                                                                     purchase a pup for the first time. They will answer almost any                                                                               question on breeders, pet health, pet care and training. You can                                                                            also find advise on how to find a good breeder and how to                                                                                     choose the right breed of dog for your family. You can also find                                                                             breed standards and get advise from an online vets. Another                                                                                 very informative site is "AKC.org" for all breed standards,                                                                                    registration info, rules and regulations for shows, trials and                                                                                    much more.

You can see some of the beautiful puppies we have placed in happy homes across the country in Puppy Photo Gallery.  And best of all you can view all of our available puppies on the links for each breed of Puppies. I update these pages on a regular basis and pictures change as the puppies get older or are sold. So please check back often. Occasionally we will have adult for sale, either retiring breeders or dogs that we feel are ready for loving families.

                                                                                      I like to communicate with my customers, more than                                                                                            once about purchasing a puppy. I don't believe that                                                                                               the purchase of a new family member should be                                                                                                   done hastily or until the customer is completely                                                                                                   satisfied with their choice. If you don't find what you                                                                                              want from one breeder, you should feel free to check                                                                                            out someone else. 

                                                                                                    

     

 

                                                                                    

We are very proud of our kennel facilities and our dogs. Even though I have an outside kennel I still raise my puppies inside. All my puppies are started on a vaccination and worming program at two and eight weeks and continued until sold at eight weeks or more. All pups are bathed and groomed and have their nails trimmed and are vet checked before they leave for their new homes. Mom's and babies live in air conditioned/heated comfort.

Our first longhair male to earn points is Zeplin, he won a three point major at 10 months old in Canton, TX.

Our smooth female, Lady earned points when she won Winners Bitch in Little Rock, AR. (Pictures above).

Our Black/Cream Monty now winning points, took his first Major at the Hot Springs show Sept, 2007.
